Let’s Talk about Restaurants

Retail growth is important to Columbia County, especially the addition of new restaurants.  Just ask any resident and they will not shy away from letting you know exactly what they want.  However, many of them focus on recognizable national brands.  In my conversation with Augusta CEO, I challenge the normal thought process and encourage the idea of recruiting regional restaurants.  The Development Authority of Columbia County is committed to this strategy.  We are fortunate to be in the heart of the south’s culinary cities.  Communities like Atlanta, Charlotte, Greenville, Charleston, and Savannah, are famous for their locally owned restaurants.  Why not bring some these chef-inspired concepts to Columbia County?  We are thriving and ready!  For full coverage from Augusta CEO, check out the video below.
